Hey soph, hope you had a good weekend, shit the show is sooo close!
Yep time to get some facebook/blog followers i suppose. My tasks for this week will be to get some flyers and posters printed (actually had an idea for screen print poster- your stick man image incorporating my pink blob, I'll do a Photoshop and see what you think).
I'll also try and arrange a day for our textiles workshop with phil's ma here at the flat, might be pushing it a bit timewise though, maybe we could take a day trip to Wolverhampton, or I might be there next weekend so we could do a skype thing maybe?
I signed up to e-artnow after you mentioned it the other day, I'll have a go at that today if you like.
Meeting would be good, how about tomorrow night, I'll be free from 8pm?

Dear Lauren,
Happy Monday and just over two weeks till our show!
Latest update:
The Facebook page, and group is up and running, I have no idea what the difference of each one is, it is very confusing, but the group I seem to be able to add people, and have notices that 2 galleries I added have been using our wall to advertise there projects, so think the week before we should pay back the favour! Also think we should invite and add as many people as we can, they can always un invite themselves!
Next for advertising, I think this is free and we should do it:

I have made the seed pod mould and am currently slip casting which is lots of fun! Will update some pictures.
I haven't heard back from the artist group that wanted to use the space so will email Tristan and see what he says.
When are you free for another meeting? One evening this week?

Sorry I never replied to the below, I like the first large image and the brown blob type one cos they have a sort of accidental unresolved, by-product type feel. Then I like the one of the installation because it's the idea of re-presenting etc. I need to re-photograph a lot of my stuff as I'm not happy with it but if it's ok with you i'll use those and some of mine and work through them with Phil to make an image to use on emails, posters etc.

“RE:09-23”
“RE:09-23” is a collaborative exhibition based on the theme of “re-addressing” previous work.
Artists Lauren Cooke and Sophie Mayer re work, re construct, re exhibit and re consider previous work to create new, complete old, and address the issue of what to do with past work.
During the two week exhibition the artists will be doing this ‘re’ process through performances and events.
